Gustav Stickley #603 Tabouret
(Reproduction)

Dimensions are 20" high x 18" diameter.
This table was makes a great end table for the living room and also could work well as a bedside table.

As stated above, this is not an original Gustav piece, but I have done my best to complete this piece in the Craftsman tradition.  It has been faithfully reproduced following pictures and measured drawings of the original #603, and matched to the finish of original Stickley pieces I've examined.

Please allow time for the detailed pictures to load, and you'll see the quarter sawn white oak ray flecks throughout and the detail to traditional craftsmanship that make this table a family heirloom.
I make the dowels out of matching white oak lumber by pounding square pegs  through a steel plate.  This assures a tight fit when pegging the through tenons.
Shop-made veneer has been applied to the outside of each leg, so quarter sawn figure shows on the three visible faces of each leg.
